Robert Mellette has written, directed, designed and acted in theatre, film and television for over 30 years. His credits in various jobs include XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS, NUTTY PROFESSOR II: THE KLUMPS, BLUE CRUSH, and his own JACKS OR BETTER, which won Dances With Films Best Screenplay award in 2000. He has been working with the festival ever since.

For DWF, Robert created the rules for the 2-Minute 2-Step, which has produced 39 films and counting.

You can reach me at but if you're going to tell me something about famous people being in it, or the video is already big - don't bother. Music Videos are not in competition, so the No Stars rule doesn't apply. We'd screen a music video with Julia Roberts singing with AC/DC if they submitted and it was good.
